Project: Pink + Gray!
May 7, 2010Product: Accordion Wallet Books!!
May 19, 2010I had a vision of how I wanted our packaging to look, and I can finally say we’re getting closer!!! I REEEEAAALLLLY wanted these CD sleeves we’re using to be letterpressed with our logo. But as you might imagine (if you’re familiar with letterpress) it’s insanely expensive.
{ This is what it looks like }
As in… it was going to cost an additional $200 for 50 of our CD sleeves. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t consider it. I hemmed and hawed over it for a good 2 weeks before deciding against it (for now anyways).
Instead, I ordered a $40 stamp from Paperwink. And I have to say…. I’m super pleased with it!!! For now, we’re stamping with chocolate brown, not one of our business colors but it goes well with the chipboard CD sleeve…. and, well, I had chocolate brown ink left from our wedding invitations So why not use it!
That’s all for now…. check back later for some baby cute-ness!

Looks great!
I love it!
Really beautiful! If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the sleeves? I love them! I love letterpress too, but GEEZ Louise, it's pricey.
how unique. I love the popping orange against the chipboard. Great idea!
Magan- the chipboard sleeves are from an online company called Stumptown Printers…. they have several different sleeves… and beware: their shipping is PRICEY! I need to find a local source for them.
I love these! The stamp looks perfect!
these look great! why is packaging cds for clients such a hard task?
I loved mine! 🙂
Hi! I love this stamp. I'm on Paperwink right now, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get it customized with your logo? Hopefully this isn't a dumb question 😉
I just emailed them, and asked if they do custom stamps… they said yep! I think I paid about $35 for it…. and it's worth every penny!
