January 31, 2012A few weeks ago I headed to Charleston at 6AM, nervous and excited. I was going to partake in the FerShop by Fer Juaristi, a photographer from Mexico. There were a handful of other photographers there, including a few I knew from flickr. We talked a lot about how and why Fer is “different” from other photographers, how he’s OK with scaring off couples that aren’t his kind of client, how he approaches photoshoots with a totally different eye than the rest of us AND (most importantly….) why harsh light isn’t so scary!
Rob & Meg joined us for the day, serving as our models. They were spectacular! So in love, so easy going.

These are lovely, Jessica! I’m hoping to get to a Fershop myself someday – they sound awesome!
These are wonderful. I’m especially loving the first shot and the entire last row.
