Charity With A View

You may or may not know I am a Junior League of Charlotte member. I’ve been involved with this organization for the last 3 years and it’s been so rewarding to use my time for the greater good of the town I call home. This year (which I cannot believe is nearly over!) I’ve served as a JLC Photographer. I get to go around town photographing different events for the newsletter, web, etc. Last Thursday I photographed an event that I signed up for months and months ago, the Sustainer Cocktail Party. OHEMGEE. The JLC is always known for having quality events, but this one took the cake for me. The fabulous Patty Norman and her husband Tommy were the gracious hosts at their amazing condo penthouse in Southpark.

From the exterior the building is very unassuming, even slightly dated- but once inside it was a whole other story. When the elevator doors opened to a magnificent courtyard (yes, courtyard at the penthouse) I knew I was in for a treat!
