Wedding | Carrie & Brendan Part II
June 11, 2014Personal | The Ponies
June 19, 2014Photographers seem to have a constant struggle with if/how to package their final product to the client. I don’t know why this gets so daunting, but it does. Some photographers use the power of technology to eliminate this frustration, by simply offering the images via download, without sending anything snail-mail. I can’t say I hate this, I actually often do it for portrait clients who have purchased the digital images…. however, when it comes to wedding clients I don’t feel the same. You just dropped a fairly large check to me, the least I can do is send you something as a culmination of our working relationship!?!
In the past I’ve used kraft print boxes to package everything up nice and neat – simple & effective, easy to ship… but somewhat underwhelming in my opinion, and not exactly personalized. I was on a quest before my first wedding of 2014 to find something a little more my style. After ordering, delayed shipping, returning, re-ordering… I finally seem to land on something just about perfect.
None of the items I use are mineminemine…. so I thought I’d share, spread the wealth, and hopefully inspire you to think outside the “traditional photography packaging box”. I understand that quality photography is a privilege, and I want to quantify those expectations with the delivery of the final product.
