Portrait | 2016 Review

January 10, 2017My last wedding of 2016 happened a month ago today, and it was a special one! Amanda and Chad wanted to forgo the hoopla that typically surrounds a wedding day, and just have it about the union between them… which meant 90% of the guests, thought they were attending a Christmas party instead of a wedding when they arrived. Amanda was there to greet guests in a killer, blue sequin dress while everyone sipped hot chocolate and had snacks. Carolers were on the patio producing beautiful Christmas carols, when Amanda and Chad interrupted them with a poem of their own… revealing their was going to be a wedding! They exited the patio and returned in full wedding garb to tie the knot about 15 minutes later!
Because their wedding happened at sunset, we met up the week prior to complete their bride and groom portraits around the club.
Everyone celebrated with dinner and dancing following the sweet ceremony. Congrats guys, it was truly special to be part of your day!
Venue: Old North State Club

I loved that they wanted a large group shot following their ceremony!
