Katie & Philip had a lovely brunch inspired reception under the giant oak trees following their ceremony. I jut love the use of all the green & teal with the dark wood chiavari chairs! They had some of THE BEST food at their reception…. those little biscuits… the quiche… the scones… breakfast casserole! OMG!The awesome food was provided by April Fogt with Unforgettable Food Affairs Super yummy cake provided by Cinda’s Creative Cakes They had a great bubble “exit” I say “exit” because they stayed after the reception was over to do photos with Jeremy & I….. SO AWESOME!!!! We’d kill to get this much time with a bride & groom! So couples… if you’re getting married early in the day, and you want time together without making your guests wait for you to get to the reception…. this is a wonderful option!   After a late evening at Laura & Nathan’s wedding in Charlotte, we were up before the sun to shoot Katie & Philip’s wedding at the Sutherland in Wake Forest! We arrived just as Katie was starting hair & makeup & Philip was getting him & his son, Cayden ready. I must have a thing for bouquets and rocking chairs…. this makes the 4th time I’ve done it! Love this shot Jeremy grabbed just of Philip & Cayden’s matching shoes 🙂 The ONLY request Katie made regarding photography was to get a shot of her upstairs while Philip was downstairs before the ceremony… they did so well, and didn’t peek! The shot on the right is for Cayden… he broke out into full on dancing after their kiss 🙂
