A couple of weeks ago Jeremy and I had made plans to go down to Carolina Beach to do a little work on our beach lot. A former co-worker of mine in Wilmington had seen our Christmas deal on Facebook and wished we were down there so she could take advantage of it….. we’ll we were heading down there, so we got to meet up with them! October 30th seemed to be prime time for having photos taken on the south end of Wrightsville beach…. I bet we saw 4 other photographers out there! Our Christmas deal includes 25 Christmas cards- here’s the one they picked 🙂 Love the sun peaking over the dunes! Their cards came in this week while I was away…. can’t wait to mail them off! A couple of weeks ago we went to the Carolina Balloon Festival in Statesville. I was SO excited to go to this event! I am just facinated by hot air balloons, they’re so pretty, but simple. I am dying to go for a ride, and am determined to make it happen at next years festival! We went on Friday, opening day because it was free to get in 🙂 I couldn’t have asked for better free entertainment! on to the pretty sites….. we weren’t really sure where to sit, so we camped out right in front, and waited for the action to begin…. When we realized where the balloons were taking off, and heading over the hill, we headed up the hill! I can’t wait for next year!!!!

When deciding to offer canvases I weighed out the different vendors….. on a spreadsheet of course! In the end of a tough battle Simply Canvas won, and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve always heard fabulous things about them, and thrilled that they are now my supplier. After 2nd shooting a wedding a few weeks ago, I decided that one of their images would make a great sample canvas… so I got to ordering! On Monday it arrived, and it’s so pretty! It’s sprayed with a special UV protectant to prevent fading & cracking. They come in a huge selection of sizes, this one is a 16×24. Here are a few images of it. 1.5″ thick.
