Baby: Wake Forest Cheerleader

As I said here…. this was one early morning…. but it was all worth it. Emma was happy, the skies were still overcast, the rain held off, ect. ect. ect. ….. and Wake won their football game that day! I’d like to think Emma’s school spirit had something to do with it 🙂 We started out at the track. She’s only about 6 weeks shy of being 1, so we set her up on the inside lane 🙂 Then we had some fun with the track team’s hurdles….. we’ll take whatever props we can find! We made our way over to the stands…. this photo isn’t the greatest or anything- but I think it’s adorable how she’s looking up at her daddy. Her mom & grandma are both WF alums…. and grandma had to have some shots with the iron WF’s in the quad 🙂

Baby: Wake Forest Cheerleader

Yesterday we had an eeeeeaaaaaarrrrrlllllllly morning! Woke up about 5:15AM, on the road by 6, and at Wake Forest a few minuets past 7AM…. why so early? Beat the rain forecasted, beat the blazing sun that could make an appearance, a happier baby and to have the campus pretty much empty 🙂 Here’s a tiny sneak peek…… ……. more to come later!

Baby: Super Spud

Our great friends Matt & Aeriel had us over for a great lunch on the grill, and to take some photos of their new little one, Annalina…. aka: Super Spud. Annalina was given the nickname long before she entered the world…. and we thought it was pretty darn cute.  They had fabulous maternity photos done by Evoke Photography in Raleigh just a few short months ago and they spent part of their shoot, paying tribute to the Super Spud. Once Jeremy & I saw these photos, we knew we wanted to play off of the theme.  Jeremy spent an afternoon creating a little Super Spud logo for her, we got a onesie, and ironed it on 🙂 I also put my little sewing machine to work, and made a red cape! You can’t be a super hero without a cape, right!?!? 4 bags of Idaho potatoes later, some strange looks at the grocery store, and we were off!
