Styled Shoot

Hello lovely readers, I want to extend an opportunity to anyone interested… we’re putting together a “styled” wedding shoot for sometime this spring. We’re looking for a “bride and groom” to pose for us. We’ve got some great vendors lined up so far, but now we need a hot couple! It would be great if you have your own attire, but if not, we can possibly put something together. Email me if you’re interested!!!

Grange + Arcadia Valentines Day Party!

On Monday night I ventured over to the community of Arcaida, outside of Lexington, to photograph their annual Valentines Day party they throw for the ARC. The kids that are members of this Grange serve the ARC members dinner, play bingo with them, cake-walked with them and danced with them! Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time 🙂 Bingo Prizes! Mr. Gentry making hotdogs Playing Bingo! Cake!

Part III: The In-Laws 40th Anniversary!

My sister-in-law, Megan orchestrated a surprise party for their parents anniversary. We all gathered at a restaurant in Roxboro to celebrate 🙂 The guests of honor with their gift from all of us- Megan had their wedding photos restored and she put them in a new album. When Jeremy and I got married, they had to ruin their old album so that we could display their photos… they were stuck in the album. “Who’s this guy?” 😉 All the kids there! Adam & Eli playing with the Flip video camera The super yummy Maxie B’s cake. This is almost exactly like our wedding cake…. I’m a fan of simplicity 🙂 The top layer was devils food, and the bottom was hummingbird (pineapple, walnut and banana, yum!) Looking at their wedding photos, most of the flowers were white- so we picked up some white roses, tulips and babies breath for the tables.

Interruption! The Fujifilm Arrived!

I’m interrupting my three part post to announce…. the Fujifilm Instax arrived!!!!!!!!!!! I was busy last night photographing a Valentines Day Party, so I didn’t get home till late, but I couldn’t resist playing with this new toy! It’s so fun and easy to use. I also love that it has a white balance setting – sunny, cloudy, indoors…. This is actually pretty close to the actual size of the photos too! Bender & Gus (yawning), Jeremy, Us, Me
