It’s Official!!!!

So my boss had a meeting with our Board over the weekend….. and guess what got approved?!?!?!? My proposed change to our bi-monthly newsletter!!! This is super exciting to me BECAUSE: 1. It will look so much more professional.2. I will get to take the photos for it.3. It will give our organization more credibility.4. I will get to take the photos for it.5. It will be so much prettier than our current publication. 6. DID I MENTION I WILL GET TO TAKE THE PHOTOS FOR IT?!?!?!?!?!? Oh, I’m SO excited! 3,000 copies every 2 months with my photos cover to cover!!!! WOWZA! I can’t wait! Here will be the difference…. excuse the fact these are taken with my iPhone…. the Nikon is at home today….. Current: New: (this is another publication the printer does) Our current publication is printed on normal-nothing special paper, the new one will be on thick-super pretty, glossy paper! OOOH I can’t wait! 🙂

Christmas Time 2009

This weekend was the kickoff to all things Christmas around here! Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights were the ‘Christmas in Davidson’ celebration nights. I walked around and took a few photos since Jeremy was out of town for work. Then Saturday we ventured to Winston Salem for Old Salem’s Candle Tea, a tradition their family has been doing for years! It was quite magical to participate in it!
