Boudoir: Sneak Peek! Mrs. R.

Several weeks ago Mrs. R. asked me to do a boudoir session for her. The catch was, we had to do it quickly and do a quick turn around on the photos, so she could give them to her hubby for their 1st anniversary…. the NEXT weekend! Well, we scrambled around, got an awesome location worked out (the hospitality suite at the O’Henry in Greensboro!!!) and got to work.We got everything worked out in time for her to give her sweetie an album and a 20×30 canvas to hang in her hubby’s bathroom!How lucky is this guy!?!?! Finally…..

We’ve been super busy the last week doing renovations on our house and we’ve been out of town… so I’ve been way behind on blogging. After this post I still have 3 events to blog…. We had shoot #3 with Miss Emma Rae about 2.5 weeks ago. This time we used her nursery as our setting. I think it worked out awesome!!!! This little tot just loves to smile, sit up, drool, and be cute…. don’t you agree?!?!? Jeremy and I got this Horton for Emma before she was born 🙂 ….. we also have one at our house…. just waiting for a little one. I was afraid by the time we have kids there won’t be an Horton stuff out in stores……

Happy Memorial Day!

I hope you all have today off and are enjoying yourselves! We went to the beach on Friday and returned home yesterday afternoon…. Sunday morning we took the puppies for a walk on the beach before leaving to come home…. man, I wish we were still there! excuse the lack of makeup and shower Bender and Gus found many new friends on the beach…. this was the last one we met…. Then we were sad because it was time to leave 🙁 we must take more beach trips like this!!!

Product: Notecards

I wasn’t going to post these… but I just couldn’t help myself…. for 2 reasons…. 1. Aren’t our new notecards cute!?!?!?! I was really pleased with how they came out! 2. We got a new Sigma 50mm 1.4 lens and this was one of the first photos taken with it! I didn’t get it perfectly focused…. but it’s a pretty awesome little lens!! We’re SO excited to add it to our growing collection. Happy Friday! Hope you all have something fun planned this weekend….. stay tuned for some baby cuteness (that I promised 2 posts ago… eek!) to hit the blog tonight 🙂
