Once upon a time, when I was in high school photography (and college for that matter) I was taught flashes= evil, the devil, wrong, ect….. the list could go on and on and on…. Well, the last four posts on here that I’ve done have used no flash. I thought outside, daylight = no flash…. wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong….. wow, wrong. All I can say is I am learning. I am green. I am getting more and more lessons taught to me each day. This last week, I spent, for work, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I flew home last night and am somehow keeping my eyes open here at my desk…. I took lots of pictures- most all of them using my Nikon SB-600. I had thought something was wrong with it originally- but I’m pretty sure it’s ok, the batteries were just dying…. oops! (note to self- when the speedlight screen flickers and acts funny- the batteries are most likely dying!) Anywho… here’s a few (straight out of the camera) photos…. because editing was not on my list of things to do last night…… hanging out with my husband and eating Cheerio’s was.
