Wedding | Downtown Mebane

Since Kristin & Jonathan’s reception came to a close before the sun fell, they opted for a few more portraits in downtown Mebane before they took off for their honeymoon in the mountains. I’m SO glad they took time to do these portraits, they’re some of my favorite!

Family | Monroe

Kate is a good friend, fellow photographer, and new neighbor! They moved themselves, two dogs and a cat to our neighborhood over the summer…. Their oldest, Dagney is getting a bit feeble and they wanted a session with her. It’s always an honor when another photographer trusts you with their memories!   Interested in a portrait session? Contact me!

A lot of people have complimented our guest room headboards (thanks!) and even asked if I made them (no!)….. bbbbuuuuutttt…. they’re back for sale again on Joss & Main!!!! 2. I’ve got people emailing me left and right for sessions this fall. My weekends are nearly booked through December, so if you want that awesome Christmas card photo…. email me quick! 3. We’ve also still got a few sessions available for beach portraits…. email me about those too! (ps… thinking of taking our navy & white stripe settee out to the sand!) 4. It’s this guy’s birthday!!! Wedding | Sertoma

It’s no secret that Sertoma 4-H Center is one of my favorite places on earth. It’s home to many of my best childhood memories, summers during college on staff there and where Jeremy and I tied the knot just over 4 years ago. One of my dearest friends still works there and he asked if we could put a little something together to help brides visualize their wedding day there. No problem, glad to do it! Back in September our planning company, J Leigh Events recruited Party Reflections, J Majors Bridal, Pressed Cotton and Christina’s Dessertery to help us pull a look together. We couldn’t be more thankful for these vendors and their willingness to work with us! We have also put together several pieces of marketing materials for Sertoma visitors to take with them- here’s the nice big brochure! Venue: Sertoma 4-H Center Dress: Lazaro 3356 from J Majors Linens: Party Reflections Hair Comb: Thomas Knoell from J Majors Pillows: Pressed Cotton Table Numbers: Pressed Cotton Cake & Cupcakes: Christina’s Dessertery *Have a spot you’d like to see staged as a wedding venue? Contact us!
