You probably noticed I’ve been a wee behind on this blogging thing…. oops. You see…. I’ve been living out of a suitcase and my car for the last 2ish weeks… not.fun. Zig-zaging back and forth across the state is part of my day job…. it’s just not usually quite this condensed. Me and 140 have become mortal enemies. Last weekend we ventured up to a little spot in rural North Carolina… somewhere between Laural Springs and Jefferson. Rory’s family is from the area so it’s a special spot to them, and made for a stunning backdrop for a winter engagement session 🙂 They brought along Jack, their incredibly well-behaved chocolate lab! I met the two of them back in the summer of 2003, when we all worked at a summer camp together…. so needless to say… this engagement has been a long time coming!
