Personal | Halloween

Halloween is a lot of fun in our neighborhood…. it’s one of the best days to live on our street. See, our houses are all of 5-10 feet apart, and several of us all in a row don’t have kids yet so we’ve made a tradition of hanging out on our front porches, handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters and ordering Chinese  take out! This year we decided to set up a mini version of our Who Booth on the porch to take pics of all the candy-takers, we weren’t sure how it would be received but overall the kids enjoyed it, and the parents thought it was a cute idea! Maybe we’ll make it a tradition along with Chinese take out 🙂 I won’t be posting any of the kids photos here since they are all minors & I didn’t get any written permission…. so here’s some we snapped of each other. Jeremy didn’t dress up…. surprise, surprise. I decided at the last minute to be Betty Draper from Mad Men…. I’d been cleaning out my closet the week before and came across a very 1950’s inspired dress…. so I threw it on, praying it would fit, and curled my hair.  I don’t think anyone realized who I was, but I didn’t really care.

Goals | November

I don’t think I did a goals post in October…. oops. Probably because the 1st was a Saturday and we were busy shooting Jamie & Brian’s wedding. …. ugh… just scrolled back through the blog & I didn’t do one for September either…. it’s been a busy fall, don’t judge 😉 October has proved to be the best kind of insane possible. Great clients, beautiful weather, traveling, and sharing it all with the hubs! Now that it’s November, I’m not sure how I’ll deal with having a few free Saturdays! So… August… yes, let’s go all the way back! 1. Blog Allie & Jamie’s Oak Island wedding…. hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday! DONE 2. Make a dent in the office decorating with Jeremy’s help DONE 3. Edit & blog Laura & Nathan’s Charlotte wedding DONE 4. Edit & blog Katie & Philip’s Wake Forest wedding DONE 5. Order a sample album from a NEW album company!! So excited about this one! DONE 6. Announcement | The Who Booth!

Last Saturday night we had the opportunity to roll out and test our new product…. The Who Booth! It’s our version of a photobooth! Why is it called The Who Booth? Well…. our last name is Horton…. get it?!?! 🙂 It was so fun, and I think the guests had a wonderful time. To see all the images from Catey & Michael’s Who Booth, click here! We also ran our instax along with our digital, providing instant images (like polaroids) to the guests and they were a HIT! Interested in adding The Who Booth or the Instant Who Booth to your wedding or event?? Just ask!
