After we left the beach, we hustled back to Karen & Paul’s apartment- Karen got busy straightening out her windblown wavy hair, while Paul went and got a haircut…. A HAIRCUT PEOPLE! And not only did he get a haircut…. but he went, got it, and returned all within 20 minutes!!! We headed downtown for some some sassy urban shots….. Karen informed me of what she’d picked out to wear for this part…. and when she said the hounds-tooth coat was lined in red…. well…. we just knew red shoes were a MUST! One day I’ll have a giant walk-in closet, and I’ll hang this photo in there… it makes me happy 🙂 The next photo was taken at the entrance to “The Liquid Room” …. if you’ve ever lived in Wilmington, you know how sketch this place is (even though I always managed to have a great time when going there….?). Who knew it had such a cool entrance!?! This one is a favorite for sure! These two are so fun… we love you two! …..PS: I edited these in the whee hours of Monday night… and have been on the road since…. chances are once I start really combing through all the photos we took…. I might add a few more 🙂

After leaving Terra at home, we ventured to the very tip of Ft. Fisher….. ….. I really, really LOVE these trees The Carolina Beach Boardwalk was dead…. and we didn’t get to take any cool shots in the arcade because it was still closed for winter… but we made the most of all the bright colors 🙂 Then down to the beach…. Wardrobe & Location change coming next!

 I’ve known Karen since I was about 10ishWhen I graduated from college I wanted to move to the beach, Karen was there at UNCW…. I moved in with her for almost 2 years. She’s one of my bestest friends! While living together, she met Paul. We love Paul, he’s sweet, smart and is good to Karen. 🙂 Remember Gus Gus… my Puggle? Well, Terra is his sister…. Jeremy and I headed down east for a conference on Thursday and Friday- leaving us all day Saturday to shoot Karen  & Paul all over the Wilmington area. They wanted a few shots with Terra, so we did a quick lap around their apartment complex….. Then Terra stayed home, while we went exploring at Ft. Fisher…. Stay tuned tomorrow for more!!!!
