This weekend was the kickoff to all things Christmas around here! Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights were the ‘Christmas in Davidson’ celebration nights. I walked around and took a few photos since Jeremy was out of town for work. Then Saturday we ventured to Winston Salem for Old Salem’s Candle Tea, a tradition their family has been doing for years! It was quite magical to participate in it!

Thanksgiving…. what a wonderful time of year…. A long weekendFootballTurkeyFamilyFriendsMy birthday and…. BBQ! Our traditional Thanksgiving was spent with Jeremy’s family, and the food was great, but the new addition to the family was the biggest hit! Meet Emma Rae Chandler Riggs, born November 4th to my sister-in-law, Megan, and her hubby, Adam. Next was Friday- My dad hosts the annual BBQ on Friday after Thanksgiving. He feeds anyone who shows up- hunters, family, friends, even his hay customers! My nieces, Olivia and Caroline wanted to climb on the tip top of the hay, so Grandpa Wolfpack (as he’s referred to) tossed them up there! Then… it’s my birthday! And we always celebrate with a cake at the BBQ. It’s one of my favorite things about the whole weekend! 🙂

Lately, quite a few of us Knotties have ventured into our own businesses, some of us photography, some of us wedding planners, some of us etsy shops, ect. Kristi, was no different. She has made some beautiful paper items and asked me to photograph them. I was VERY happy to do this for her, as it’s pretty easy to pose paper…. unlike humans or animals! So, here’s a few of her pretty things she’s selling 🙂
